Strike A Pose!

So many inspirational modeling poses out there...so little time. Well, Fab is making the time to attempt some of the challenging poses found in our favorite fashion mags like Vogue, Elle, Bazaar, Teen Vogue, W and more. The question is: are you up for the challenge?

I will always start you off by imitating a difficult pose and then I want to see you try. Subscribe and then post your photos in the Strike A Pose! group and for this week's pose tag it with "Strike A Pose Challenge 1." I will select the best attempts and feature them on Fab! And the winning post will receive a FabSugar tee to pose away in 24/7.

I'll start off with this nearly-impossible pose featured in Teen Vogue's September issue. Doesn't it look like the model's head is turned around to her back? Needless to say, after many attempts, partysugar helped us out with her sharp Vogueing skills. Now it's your turn...let's see what you've got fellow posers!

only a handful of people on the planet can BELT THEIR PUFFER COAT and not look like a fat snowman with a belt on. Can you imagine how skinny this girl is in real life???
I think this photo should be a "caption this."

Is it just me or does the picture look photoshopped to anyone else? The head, torso (which is backwards), and legs all appear to be from different photos. That would explain why it doesn't look natural or is just plain weird looking.

Hellena25: thanks! As for the pose I pretended I was on ANTM but doing that for awhile started to hurt my wrists. It was hard but fun! Can't wait for the next one!

I think it is so sad to see such thin models in a teen themed magazine. My 12 year old cousin reads this magazine and now I know why she wants to diet! This model looks like she is in pain!

Hollisterbabe01~ She's probably in the 12 regular little girls section. They are usually pretty boney!

I'm being reminded of that scene in "The Exorcist" when the little girl's head spins in a complete circle. Creepy! But... it still looks like it would be fun to try. Eye-wink

Man, I am so tired of these ridiculous poses. Every month without fail in Vogue there is some photo of Caroline Trentini jumping in the air with her arms suspended out at her sides like she's a marionette. And then there's the shoulders hunched over arms akimbo pose as shown. And then there's the striding pose. They really need to come up with some new moves.

Might be a bit embarrassing too - but still fun.
    Thanks for the challenge.
