As a beauty-products junkie, I'm constantly sampling new make-up, lotions, and hair products to write about here. But I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you about the first "beauty" product I ever used: Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Original Moisturizing Cream. I first tried this heavy-duty lotion when I was about 4 years old, and I've applied it nearly every day of my life since then.
This thick, creamy lotion is hands-down the best treatment I've found for severe dry skin, particularly in the harsh winter months. You know when your skin gets super-dry in cold weather and you feel like you're applying hand lotion every five minutes? That won't happen with Eucerin. Yes, it's got a consistency that's sort of like Crisco, and it's so thick you have to rub it in with all of your strength, but it can fight off even the driest skin and keep you moisturized all day. Seriously, I've tried other treatments over the years, but I just keep coming back to Eucerin. You can buy a 16-ounce jar for $11.99 here

Yeah, this stuff is seriously fantastic for really dry skin. But it's also true that it has to be rubbed in pretty well. But if you leave it on for a few minutes, your skin will warm it up and make it easier to rub in.
1Yeah, but I find that it stays too greasy and gets on my clothes. I use Curel now.
2This stuff under gloves or socks is the BEST! I love Neutrogena Norwegian Hand Cream or whatever too.
3my skin is so dry right now. the cold weather always makes it worse. i'll have to try this stuff. goodness knows i have tried everything else.
4Yes, I put this on at night and put socks over my hands. I ran out and need more....my hands are soooooooo dry.
5another good one is the Skin Milk body cream...i just started using it and it has done wonders to my skin!
6okay..i am adding this to my favorites so i can come back and look at these before i go shopping.
7Drugstore fab finds! Ha ha ha.
8yeah..jenn. i got complacent (sic?) on my drugstore fab finds. things got too busy on here that i can barely keep up sometimes.
9Same here. Its so hard to keep up!!
10If there is ever a war in the U.S. and I cant get my Pacquin (by Jergens) I would just hope for a bomb to drop on me....I dont think I can live without it! Hands and feet and dry elbows and knees- by far THE BEST!
