On Monday, I was playing PopSugar's Guess Who? when I mistook Nicky Hilton (left), clad in an off-white fedora, for Ashlee Simpson. On Tuesday, again, I played Guess Who? and swore Carmen Electra (center), wearing a similar fedora, was Ashlee. That got me thinking, "When did Ashlee, Nicky and Carmen, three very distinct girls, become triplets?" They have the same hair, disheveled clothes and are all practically living in their fedoras these days. To Ashlee's credit, she's the first one who sported the long, stringy hair and the fedora. These girls need to stop morphing into one another - it's confusing and utterly unoriginal. Are you with me?

8I'm with you. When doing the Guess Who game I kept thinking Ashlee or Fergie. When I would find out it was Nicky or Carmen, I was shocked. Like you said, since when have they all become the same. I can't tell them apart anymore and that's just wrong. They're all usually so different but now it's hard to find out who's who

15Blah, I am so sick of fedoras! I have been trying to find one of those cute almost bell shaped hats the wore in the 20's but I can't find one anywhere....let me know if someone has seen one!!!!!

17I'm not sure if it's the fedora or if it's the whole look that these girls are sporting that's wrong. They all have long stringy hair flailing out of that hat with huge sunglasses on that cover up the rest of their face and then wear men's tees with jean shorts. I mean how unoriginal is that. Now if I saw someone with a fedora on and in a completely original outfit I could possibly give it another chance...
18whats awful is that I inherited an amazing fedora that belonged to my gran- vintage, absolutely amazing, which I've been wearing. Then, this summer fedoras become the in thing. I hate wearing it now because of the other thousands of people weraing them this summer, but its too gorgeous to ignore!
19YES!! Oh my God, I'm so tired of seeing almost every celebrity trying to be trendy and wearing the same dumb hat. Correction, I have nothing against the fedora, but people need to stop using it so much. Individuals should embrace their own style, not just copy what seems popular.

21I see nothing wrong w/ wearing fedoras but seeing them on celebrities are too much when they are "supposedly" the trendsetters ...but this time instead , they can show also that they "fashion-slaves"
22I kept guessing the same clones for the guess who game.Ashlee,Mary-Kate,Kirsten,Sienna,etc.They all look the same.There is no way to tell them apart from the back.
23I did the same thing with the recent Guess Who's too! Hollywood is so generic now, no one stands out.
24Ok --- I think that is a little ridiculous when celebs continue to sport the same styles as one another b/c they have the $$ to buy anything and the option to be unique anx creative - what are they getting paid for after all!
25Sorry Fab, Kate Moss was the first to sport the long stringy hair with the Fedora (back in 2005-2006)! This trend is way overdone at this point.

29I am so with you on the generic over-tanned, blond Hollywood thing. Living in LA is like living in a cloning colony sometimes.
30i totally agree, i get so excited when i see unique looking starlets, they really are all clones! i think as fashionistas we all know that looking the same as everyone else is completely boring, you need to have originality and your personality in your look! considering hollywood is all about being known and recognized, you'd think girls wouldn't all want to be looking the same as each other!!
31They have no sense of style tha's why. Similar clothes, similar body type, same hair extensions...it's not a big surprise.

I do like certain fashion, don't get me wrong... these three girls look the exact same though. It is kind of sad (besides the obvious Ashlee Simpson transformation which makes me sick) that nobody wants to look like themselves anymore. These girls probably don't even remember what they looked like when they were born.

48The hat trends I don't mind as much, but celebrity females REALLY NEED NEW HAIRSTYLES. There is such minimal diversity in celebrity hair it's sad. This is why a simple bob like Rhianna's and something like a sideswept bang can seem so cutting edge/different/original... since when are we so afraid to experiment with our hair??
49So true. What happened to being original? They might think they're being 'quirky' with their trilbys but now everyone is wearing them they're mainstream. Time for a change.
