When Fall rolls around, I just can't get enough of sweaters. And this Sonia Rykiel Striped Tie Sweater, available for $358 here, has almost everything I look for in a cute knit top. I love the close fit, the 3/4-length sleeves, the banded waist, and the retro stripes. Plus, the dark black-and-blue color palette is very in right now. It's really the perfect sweater, except for one small thing. Seriously, what is up with that necktie? I understand this is trying to be playful, but I think it's trying too hard. In fact, I might even pay $358 to have the tie removed. What do you guys think? Love it or hate it? Tell me below!

3Well, I liked the tie. Until I read Jen's comment. I can't wear anything that would cause anyone to think of that insufferable poseur Avril Lavigne. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

8i think it would look good with the right person (especially with a pleted black skirt)... i would not pay that much for a shirt. i see old navy coming out with a style just like it.
9At first I was going to write "I hate it!"... but for some reason, after looking at it for a while, it's not as unbearable as it was at first glance. Still, it's too masculine for my taste, but if I were forced to wear it, I'd make it stylish by pairing it with black skinny jeans and some ankle boots.

13I would like it if it didnt have the tie, collar and high neck line. Although I do not look good in horizontal stripes. If you have a straight skinny body then it would look good

I would buy the Target knockoff and I kind of like the tie, but I would not wear a white bra under it.

Upon first reaction, I WANT to hate it... but I actually kind of love it! Except for the fact that it's slightly see through...
