There are good looking boy bands, and there is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They've been around the block, but they are still going strong. I, however, prefer their Blood Sugar Sex Magik era - both musically and for style. The RHCP have always had style, from Anthony Kiedis' ever-evolving hair styles to Flea's elaborate costumes (remember the stuffed animal pants?!). I swoon for guys that are both musical and aren't afraid to dress in...
chain mail skirts, glitter lipstick, mirrored pants, metallic Doc Martens and devil horns. These are the wardrobe choices for their part glam rock, part tribal music video of 1991. The groundbreaking video, directed by Stéphane Sednaou, broke conventions with its intense, sporadic energy and aforementioned get ups. Shot in black and white, the band members were spray painted gold - though they appear to be silver. My favorite outfit in the video? Anthony's little mirror-trim metallic speedo and the skyward view between his legs. (Wink)

9This was one of my favorite albums in High school. Anthony Kedis reminded me of my high school crush Pete. He had the long hair just like him. Every song on this album was the best and the band line up (exactly as it is now, post David Navarro) was at their peak, even though I know Anthony and the lead guitarist were battling with personal habits.
