4I've gotten to a point where I'm really questioning the widsom of having to carry back-up shoes because your first-line shoes are hurting you. Shouldn't we be striving to wear shoes that don't hurt us in the first place?
5A few months ago I saw that in London and maybe coming to NYC they had these in vending machines to buy at the end of a long night out! I thought it was genius!
6Maybe, Anonymous, but for the hard-core fashionphiles who inhabit this site, nothing can compare to the feeling of wearing a truly hot pair of heels. I myself have had many blisters on my feet and while they were certainly painful, I was willing to endure them because I loved the shoes, and I broke them in eventually anyway so they don't hurt anymore. So while in an ideal world we would all wear those that are both stylish and comfortable, that unfortunately hasn't happened yet, and women are willing to pay a price for fashion.
