Can you believe it's already been a year since it was announced Phoebe Philo would serve as creative director of Céline? Time has flown and the British designer has designed her first major collection for the house. She dipped her feet with Cruise '10, but she's taken the plunge with Spring '10. The result is lots of camel — leather mini skirts, high-waist trousers, drawstring tops. There are a few black, white, and forest green pieces in there, but for the most part it's a camel world of sharp sportswear. What do you think?

i haven't looked at the show, but based on these 3 pics, i do NOT get the cohesion of this collection. sure, there's an obvious color palette, but the materials and styles seem strange. chiffon-like, leather, and burlap-like materials? and there's mild futuristic & too realistic renaissance feels at the same time...maybe it's just me...
That green leather miniskirt alone was enough to get me to vote "love it"! The first look is a little off for me. I like the top and the pants, just not together. But overall...love it.
I love the first outfit on the left, I wish I was thin enough to pull something like that off, it has a very feminine and delicate touch to it that I really really love.
I really like the shape of the jacket in the middle photo.
this is awful look with brown does not match with the green at all to short and just digusting awful look I hate it
LOVE IT! I love the green skirt.
yeah, the first look is awful (I agree that it's not bad as separates, but together it's just bland); but the second look is faaaaabulous and I love the green leather mini! I'd like to see more...
I'm bored...
too drab for me
so, I just saw the rest of the collection and I have to say it is quite dull - there's no real innovation, now wowing designs; nothing that screams modern or fun or beautiful. the green miniskirt is still fab and I quite like the black and the white pieces, but the rest of it is so 90's minimalism, and not in a good way. even the shoes are boring; of course, maybe I'm biased because I hate mules, clogs, or anything of the sort...
The collection was very boring, dull colors simple shapes, very commercial. The spirit of the collection if any was drab and dull. the pieces were wearable and were thought of as a wordrobe. boring pieces that looked all to much like a flat lined dessert that no one would cross. in contrast to Ivana Omazic's past collections for Celine, shaped parisian chic and defined the look and style of a powerful fun and fresh lady. This collection is just old, very old, i could pull these pieces out of a old ladys closet and shorted and tailor them and they would look just like this, Celine, hippie antique.
