If you live in a city with a rainy season—and most cities do have a rainy season—you're bound to don a pair of rain boots from time to time. But just because you're wearing galoshes doesn't mean you can't still be fashionable. Consider these Marc Jacobs Collection Patent Rain Boots, available for $900 here, which bring high-fashion to the lowly wellie. Made from patent-finish vinyl with shearling lining, these boots even boast an embossed Marc Jacobs nameplate on the top. Plus, the 3.5-inch heel and upturned toe will make you look less dowdy. The only problem? To me, this boot looks cozy but, unfortunately, hideous. Do you disagree? Tell me below if you love it or hate it.

I hate to say anything negative about Marc Jacobs - he's one of my favorites. But I hate these.

2They look like boots made out of caramel.

5yuck
6They look like Shrek boots. Hate them.
7hate it!!!
8Not just ugly. Butt ugly.
9i don't like shiny boots, a little too catwoman for me.
10I hate these they look cheap.
If they are going to do a patent brown it should at least be a dark brown...it would still be ugly but it wouldnt look as cheap
11I love Marc but these SUCK!! Not only are they ugly but we all know heels in rain makes for slippery footsteps. Not like I would walk in puddles wearing $900 shoes, but COME ON! ICK
12How tragic...
BUT...I was walking by the Marc Jacobs store this morning and saw all-weather rubber wellies, in some seriously cute, bright colors, for only $35! So exciting!
13holy crap. those are atrocious!
14Ralph. These are gross. Cute idea, but poorly executed.
15I would really love these if they weren't so....shiny.

Wow... those are some really ugly $900 boots.
17If I was going to pay $900 for boots... which I probably would cause I have a spending problem, no way would they look like lambs in raincoats, on my feet no less. Arrrgh.
hate it...they look like Dutch clog boots or something the way the toes curl up. yuck.
18one word: EW!
19eeeeeeeeewie!!!! And the best thing about my own rain boots is the grippy bottom (gotta love the Sperry's!!) How would one not slip in these?
