is it Marchesa? InStyle says that it's J. Mendel (http://www.instyle.com/instyle/package/general/photos/0,,20164507_203033...). Anyways, love the dress, want it. It's funny, Serena wore blue foley and corinna hollywood dress, which is very similiar to this one, to Lily & Bart's rehearsal dinner.

this is stunning; although the whole time I kept wanting to TUG IT UP! my goodness; it's like they try to make her look as slutty as possible, even when she's dressed in a more classy outfit (the way she wore it with so little meaning really made me roll my eyes). I'm beginning, once again, to get really tired of Serena.

by the way, did anyone else find this episode mind-numbingly stupid and poorly written? it, to me, was insulting how badly this week's dialogue and sequence of events was crafted (if you can call it that) - even what should have been a tender moment; Rufus and Lily finally getting married; was made so convuluted by the presense of Sonic Youth (really; they didn't have anything better to do?! that makes me sad). and Lily made me really dislike her by her pissy little snap at Scott when he interrupted her and Rufus' conversation (there was no reason to speak to him like that, even if her was a stranger eavesdropping) - it made her really look like a b*tch.

all in all, pretty much every single character made me roll my eyes at how much of a caricature of themselves they have become (even my favorite, Chuck Bass - is it me or has his voice become even more hushed and creepy; like it just doesn't sound natural anymore?).
even the fashion underwhelmed; Lily's dress was a "Project Runway" disaster, "Little J," and both her and Blair's dresses were awful!
whatever; sorry for the GG bash; I just don't know how much more of this show I will be able to take...

does anyone know wher ei can get a dress similar to this in the under 100 price range? wishful thinking, i know, but i'm a broke college student working at a museum and we're hosting a masquerade ball, and this dress is EXACTLY what i'm imagining.

lizlee-i agree w/ your post 100%. granted, i dvr'd last nights episode and haven't seen it yet. but this season of GG is getting almost painful to watch. what the heck happened!?! the first season was soooo much better! i HATE that they make serena look skanky...i know she's supposed to be the hot one, but seriously sometimes she really looks trashy!!
