Phillip Lim has really found his niche, making semi-affordable pieces that ride the line between classic and fresh. Most of his clothes that I see I am really inclined to buy!

Take this 3.1 Phillip Lim Cardigan [1], $430, posted by everythingnice [2] in the Love It or Hate It? group [3], for example. I like the the slouchiness of it, and the lace detailing is a nice pseudo-Gothic touch. But does it look like something out of your grandmother's closet?
