French designer Pierre Hardy [1], whose bags are known for their contrasting piping [2] and whose footwear is graced by unique designs, is set [3] to design a collection for Gap. His pieces will first hit racks this Fall/Winter and will be succeeded by a more extensive Spring/Summer 2008 collection.

Pierre is no stranger to collaborations (he once designed pieces for La Redoute), so this partnership is a recipe for success!
