Whoa, this Pleaser Women's Ballet Ankle Boot ($138) should come with a serious warning. How about,"Likely to cause a broken ankle"? I've seen some crazy footwear, but this is asking for a hospital bill. I just don't see how anyone can walk in them. It's part ballet shoe, part stiletto, entirely nuts. I'm staying away, what about you?

These shoes aren't meant to be walked in. They're basically a form of bondage for sexual fetish play or photography, and the woman (generally in some sort of submissive role) is meant to be immobile or carried.

20They don't have the support of real ballet shoes. The reason most women can't go en pointe, like ballerinas, is that they don't have the ankle and leg strength, which takes years to build up. This is an accident waiting to happen.
