Lace is very pretty, but when paired with a babydoll silhouette, like here on Carmen Electra, it tends to look childish and cheap. For some reason Carmen insists on dressing too young for her age. Don't get me wrong, she's a gorgeous woman, but I think she would have looked much more glamorous in a floor-length gown. Are you with me?

9Yeah, I hate this, not even so much because of the silhouette and material pairing, but the way that she chose to wear this. The dress itself is constructed but the lace gives it a more edgy feel.. I feel like because of that her hair should have been more sleek (or at least not looking like post-sex-hair), and I also don't know how I feel about that bright red lipstick. She's a pretty woman though, so you know, whatevs.

I'm a fan of Carmen, and have always thought she was a beautiful woman. But this look was not pulled off very well. The idea is cute and I get it, she just could have chosen a better fitting dress (like maybe a halter A line?) and the hair in a cute, simple pony.
