One of the most interesting faces trotting down the fall runways was Dutch newcomer Iekeliene Stange. Note: her last name is Stange, not Strange, though she does look it with her insane cheekbones, pale complexion, and pointed nose. The 21-year-old, who also happens to have a gap-toothed smile, was a designer favorite this fall appearing in numerous shows including Chloe, Chanel, and Emanuel Ungaro. I think she's interesting looking alright, what do you think?

Her face is intense! She looks like an elf from Lord of the Rings or something like that. I can see why she is a model but at the same time I dont. huh

9Interesting is more important than traditionally beautiful - a striking face will make people look more than a boring, normal one. Don't forget - these people hiring her are trying to sell something - and while she may not be traditionally beautiful, she is certainly striking! She looks good on film too, and some very beautiful people just don't POP on film...
10Actually, I heard that they pick plain girls for runway (such as her) because that way it's like a blank slate carrying clothing. They do not want anything taking away from the clothes, which is also why models do not smile.

14I don't think, if I saw her walking down the street, I would notice her. She's kinda freakishly plain looking, if that makes sense.
These models are just skinny with great makeup artists and hair dressers. I swear, get yourself some professional primping then have professional photographs taken someday. You won't BELIEVE what people can do to you if you never try.
I say everyone should find their inner model and have a glam day before they get caught up in the hype that models are just naturally beautiful. They're good bases, sure, but the beauty part is all in addition to their natural features.
