Hayden Panettiere's look at the MTV Video Music Awards has got me conflicted. First off, we can't see the front of the dress because her hair is covering it. I do think the color and length of the frock are fun but her clear wedges are throwing me off. Do you concur?

21Looking at the dress on another site, you can see that it actually has a criss-cross pattern. So it's not wrinkled.

I'm not liking this perspex heel trend - whether they're wedges or normal heels, I think they look tacky and they're all over my most recent fashion mag reads.
