I discovered Begeren when I was on the hunt for laptop bags; the designer's Tribeca Laptop Bag, available for $1,375 here, really stood out as unique.
Since then I've trolled the rest of the collection, and I have to say I'm very impressed. Designed by founder Linda Ly, Begeren bags are made from super-soft, textured leather in rich colors and metallics and lined with funky print fabrics. What I like most about these bags is that they can look casual by day and chic by night. Here are some of my favorite looks.

The Chelsea bag is just great. I love the blue. I have always had a neutral bag for everyday, but this year mine is purple. Maybe purple is the new neutral....or this blue. But there is the matter of the $814. I think the purple one was on sale for a whole lot less.
