I love both, and it all depends on my mood, sometimes I really want to dress up for evening. I have been feeling like that as of late, because I've had very few evening events. I see it as an
opportunity to be really feminine and wear my nice heeled sandals.
I love the daytime as well, allows me to develop my creative dressing which is not my strongest point
If by dressing for nighttime you mean putting on my pajamas...that's probably the only time I ever get excited about putting on an article of clothing.
I love dressing up for the night more and being able to wear more outrageous things! Plus...I usualyl have more time to prepare to go out rather then in the morning.
I dress for day, because I haven't gone out at night in years. Kids will do that to ya. But the job I have allows me to dress fashionably and cute anyway. However, I do really need to get out of my jeans/long sleeve/tanktop look
on my days off.
I love being comfy in daytime casual, HOWEVER, i love the IDEA of nighttime party dresses. Problem is my boyfriend and I are practically married so we don't go out as much anymore. Plus San
Francisco isn't very dress friendly... those nights are chilly even in the summer time.
It doesn't matter what time of day (or night), I think if one knows what and where they'll be, you can dress appropriate. Exceptions include going to a fancy dinner, benefit etc.

Kristin Cavallari went with a black-lace, bra-baring top at The Breeders' Cup Winners Circle Event in LA. She paired it with black skinny pants, and kept things neutral with beige patent pumps and a matching clutch.

1I love to dress for night time. I guess the reason is because I never get to....don't we always want desperately what we cannot have?!
