Let's be frank: it was only a matter of time until Mariah Carey ended up on How Would You Wear It? Her dresses are too often too tight and matchy matchy; this look at the Jury Duty Social Awareness stamp unveiling is a perfect example. Yes, pink is a hot color right now, but she killed it.
If I were Mariah, I would have first either ditched the pink belt or the cardigan - either would have nipped the pink overdo in the bud. Next, I would have taken off the sunglasses, as it makes her look cheesy. And what a difference a two-inch longer hemline would have made, taking it from trashy to classy. Lastly, although those Louboutin peep toe pumps are gorgeous, I would have attempted another designer because the signature red sole clashes with the pink.
How would YOU wear it?

DKNY
Lyie Van Rycke
Tripp
first, I would get rid of the pinkness all together because hot pink and black is just tacky (it was fine in the 90's but not anymore mariah).
1if we wanted to keep mariah's style in this, I would add a thick laquer red belt to the dress to go with her heels. and maybe a red polka dot hair band (VERY mariah if you ask me lol).
but if it was for me, I would definitely go with a gold and black combination. probably a gold leather bag, chandeleir earrings, and gold flats.
OMG!!i hate the dress!!
2I would get rid of the belt and the cardigan and use small accessories for the pink. She could wear her LBD (that fits right) and then throw on some classy pink shoes and a pink purse with some gold on it.
3Then a gold necklace and earrings too.
And ditch the sunglasses and ponytail.
Isnt' she a little too old for something like that
4I would remove all the pepto pink and add a leopard/red belt, the touch of red on the belt picking up the red sole.
5I love her Loubs!
That dress is way to tight for her! Eeks.
6I agree with Riveronica!! Louboutins!!
7sunglasses are tacky for an event
8i would go naked except for the Louboutins. i love that look.
9Is it just me or does that pink thing under her chest NOT look like a belt. It almost seems like part of the dress which is even tackier. Maybe its just the angle.
10If it is a belt I would've worn bright colored flats and a matching bag. Or brightly colored flats with a matching cardigan but a black bag and no sunglasses.
If it is in fact parto of the dress ...then I wouldn't have worn it...LOL...maybe with some silver flats and a black bag. No cardigans no nothing.
Ok...so I checked ...I couldn't help it http://www.mariahconnection.com/2007/jury11.jpg it is NOT a belt, it IS however part of the dress.
11I would've just worn black flats and a black purse with it.
She looks like a Barbie (and, not I don't intend that as a compliment!). I'd ditch the whole things (except, of course, for the fab shoes)
12Her wardrobe needs to grow up. She's kind of boring lately.
13i wouldn't
14First of all I would drag Mariah out of Charlotte Russe and Forever 21.
15Second, I would throw everything pink out of her wardrobe because she usually wears shades of it that clash with her skin tone. Last but not least, I would go to Costco and buy a a 24-pack of class and elegance so that she can quit dressing like a mobster's mistress.
Here's the deal, I would never wear it. Well maybe the shoes.
16I agree with leeluvfashion, I was gonna say the same, I would NEVER wear that, plus if I were her I'll try to start breathing 'cause she's turning blue
17Her hair being so severe and the sunglasses are awful.
18The whole outfit is just
she always looks cheesy
19If you remove MC the whole outfit just works for me...lol
20She is such a b!tch!!!
She needs to get over her
freakin' self
21not a fan of the outfit either
22not wear it at all
23She Looks Perfect in every Outfit that she wears!!No matter what the Outsit is that she may be wearing, shes GORGEOUS!! and has ALWAYS BEEN GORGEOUS I JUST LOVE MARIAH'S BODY VOICE STYLE AND EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT HER ALWAYS!
