I loved the Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring collection, but when I was taking another look, I noticed something I hadn't seen the first time around: Lego accessories!
Little colorful blocks and triangles made from Legos decorated belts and headbands. They added color, a youthful vibe, and remind me of those funky Fall Balenciaga heels. However, I don't know if I would done this off the runway - it rings of runway-only accessory to me. What about you?

Yea, not a fan of the poofy hair...
doesn't really do anything for me..
i think they're funny and cute.
I would honestly rock a Lego belt buckle!!!
marc jacobs is a bithc he spends his stealing people ideas and designs his last collection reminds me of prada and thats really sad cause he steals from saint laurent, chanel , prada, lanvin i mean what the f*ck is that
Runway only
very funny
new york designers lake of originality, they are really boring, they stick to the same f*cking formula
I don't see the humor or satire in it.
Just looks like their 3 year old made it for them.
Why is he making these items that look like a toddler could create and selling them for hundreds of dollars as fashion?
Legos? seriously? i hate it. And I love legos... and love Marc... but not together...
The belt buckle's not so bad, but random leggos in the hair? Not so much.
Very cute!
the belt buckle is kind of funky...i'd rock that. the lego headband...not so much.
It looks like they fell in a child's playroom before hitting the runway. Belt is okay but in the hair???
uhh. shanalogic.com sells way cuter lego accessories (and has done so for months). i believe jacqueline sanchez is the name of the designer that mj is heavy-handedly ripping off here.
Trust me when I tell you these were blocks of Legos with a pin hotglued to the back. If you think it's cool, you should be able to make one in about three minutes. I thought it was kind of lame attempt to insert whimsy into an already beautiful and edgy collection.
To me, it looks like it's trying to hard to be quirky and creative. I think other designers do the quirky thing with much more style. The headband is especially random and ridiculous.
the belt is ok. building blocks in your hair? not so much.
its the runway - things are quirky, attention getters. Aren't we all talking about him now?
good point
What if a piece falls off? Is your hat ruined forever? Or is a run to Toys R Us in order?
yes! now i can pull out my old lego brick nametag from when i worked at legoland. i'll be the coolest kid on the block.... or not haha.
MJ just trying to stand out but I am not feeling this at all.
Love Lego, Marc Jacobs, hate them together. The belt buckle though, I may consider it.
Love it however it's runway-only.
oh no
Sorry Marc, but I hate it...
so quirky, and really brings back my childhood.
Not a fan...my nephews would try to pull them off to play with them.
What the heck is this all about?!
Tacky.
I think it's cheeky, I love it!
geek had nothing to say?!?
It looks silly. Has anyone noticed how ugly models are getting these days? It's like being the opposite of beautiful is a prerequisite. Yucky.
It's ok for a runway!!
But just for a runway!!!
this is what I love about MJ - sometimes the man is a genius, sometimes he's a madman, in this case - he's a genius madman. I love the risks he takes, and yet I love how he always stays true to fashion, even when placing children's toys on amazing couture clothing...
looks like he got it from the "L4Lego" chains
