Mr. De la Renta creates so many wonderfully pretty things. When I stumbled upon this handbag I was really surprised this was his work. This bag is just so...confusing. Though it is made of exotic materials like python and hair-calf, the green flower appliques are cutesy and strangely medieval looking. Maybe it's the eclectic mix of elements that rubs me the wrong way but for $2,500 you would have to love this folksy-meets-fancy style, available here. What are your thoughts, Love It or Hate It?

Does haircalf mean the same as calf hair? If it does, it makes me really dislike this bag. But I don't really like it either way!
