My first thought when I saw these pics of Edie Falco on the red carpet was "Why didn't she put on any makeup?" I will leave this analysis to Bella, but just had to share. I am kind of undecided about Edie's red carpet look. It's not amazing, but not awful either. Up close the beading on her dress is pretty. What do you think?

I love the dress...and she is nice skin so she really does not need makeup. Maybe a necklace though to dress it up!
It is definitely not fabulous or "Love It" worthy, but it is nice and appropriate for her age.
Not feeling it.
i think she looks beautiful, and its really age appropriate.
i like the dress. she looks age appropriate and it's a different look than what's been shown so far.
I'm pretty sure our preacher's wife wore that to a church function once.
No lie!
The dress looks like it's from a cheap department store
Not a fan
I like this dress on her. Edie has never been one to wear much makeup anyway, so I think this fits with her personal style. It's age appropriate, it fits her well and she looks comfortable, so it's a win in my book.
The dress makes her look very matronly. And I agree with the poster above who said that it looks like she bought it at a department store in the mall.
I think her makeup looks natural, but I wish she would smile without frowning.
I do NOT like her dress -- I agree with the people above -- it looks like something I saw at Macy's. On the sale rack.
Hideous dress.
the cut is gorgeous but the pattern ruins the whole damn thing.
I think she looks lovely
she looks so youthful, lovely
I don't like the dress.
Who is this?? Ugly dress!
i think i saw this at jcpenny
The dress just doesn't suit her.
I don't like the pattern at all! From a distance it looks like she's got tiny white lights all over her dress.
Ok for her age i suppose but I still hate it.
I saw it at Big Lots.
Looks like wallpaper.
allll wrong. maybe one of the worst of the night, in my opinion?
ew...........................
ooh, this fabric is horrible... the pattern!?!?! eew
ew.
Fugly
I'm glad she didn't wear makeup..she's showing her natural beauty & looks fantastic..I dont know about the dress..i don't hate it but I dont love it
gosh i love this lady. i wanna love the dress but i cant.
I dislike it
She looks great but the dress is not working.
she is stunning, but the dress looks like something the mother of the bride would wear..
First pic, she looks like she's saying, "I know, I'm thinking the same too." WTF?
I really don't like this dress at all. It just has this "casual" feel to it, and the pattern...*shudder*
Rather good than bad, but sort of neutral.
Not a fan.
Her hair is awful!
Hate it.
I'm not a fan, i sew her in much more better looks then that.
not her best! Ugh!
While she looks nice, it's just way toooo casual! She was up for an award, her show was up for an award, AND it is the last time she's going as Carmela Soprano. She should have gone out with a bang...
dont' like it... don't like flowery things!
mmm...looks like a gardener puked flowers on her dress....
She can act her azz off, but she can't dress for crap. Oh Edie WTF?!?!
She is beautiful and any woman who can work the red carpet without much make up in Hollywood is one in a million. Her dress however is a different story and it disappoints.
this upsets me...
Hate it.
hate it..wats wit all the white circles? i hate dresses like those.
I don't like it.
Blegh. I don't like this one. Pity, 'cause she's a great actress.
I agree that she should have worn makeup - but I'm more concerned with how the flower make the dress look so not elegant...
