For me, plaid pants have always been associated with a major nerd factor. So when Tory Burch came out with this plaid Germaine Pant, $350, I immediately thought what great pants they would be for a nerdy Halloween costume.
They're meant to be riding pants, but I think I prefer the classic riding pants, in camel color. What about you, are you mad for this plaid pant?

oh no
Yes, no...
I think I had a pair like that in Grade 8 and I thought they were SOOOOOO cool!
FUGS! maybe for a game of golf, but then there are SO MANY CUTER OPTIONS!!!
They're not horrible, but you'd have to be rail thin to pull those off. That's not a flattering pattern for anyone with curves--which is most anyone above a size 2.
Love it... I just bought some pants similar to this by Gentle Fawn
Hate it.
i agree with nikkih. Those pants would make my ass look like something you could land planes on.
I love it so much, there are hundreds of ways to make these seemingly boring old dad pants amazing. Gosh I wish I had 350 to drop on pants.
hate it
I love this pants but I agree with "nikkih"
I don't like these. They look like something Steve Urkel would wear.
FORE!
Oh, wait, this isn't GolfpantsSugar. My mistake.
can you says '70's disco?
These COULD look okay in the right ensemble...but lets be serious...only a select few could pull wearing these pants off. I'm not one of them...so i say no thanks. Its an awful plaid too...there are much better plaids out there.
Yuck.
It doesn't look awful to me. But I wouldn't wear it either.
I don't like them...
Lol. I did too, in grade seven, and after I wore them everyone in my school did. But I secretly had nothing else to wear that day. So, I love them for that reason, but they're ugly.
that trend came and gladfully went.
As much as I loved my grandfather, why would I want to dress like he did in the 70's? So this item is a major Hate!
my 3 year old is sitting on my lap and he puts it best saying "mommy, those pants are sooooooooooooooo ugly"
I don't like them
Omg, Hate It!
Put it away!
Love them.
ew...
Putrid!
I have plaid pants (in a cranberry colour) and they look okay with something really muted on top, like a plain black shirt. It looks dorky if I try to match the top to one of the colors in the plaid pattern, though.
The cut of these pants look nice. There's some curvyness to it instead of just straight up and down tubes like how a lot of people who forget women have curves cut women's pants. Not too fond of the orange, beige and black pattern combo, but I think it could look great on a thin person with a plain black shirt.
I would definitely not spend that much on a pair of pants that can only be paired with one kind of top, though. The plaid pants I have I got on sale for $19.99.
I love them. I see classic preppy with a white button down and black sweater vest plus some pointy ballet flats. I am so looking for plaid pants now.
Plaid can be extremely cute. IMO, this isn't one of those occasions.
i actually really like them.
Plaid pants are horrible...end of story. Not flattering ever.
I hated them as a child and I still hate them today. The ugliest pants a woman could wear I think.
I think instead I'll just borrow my grandpa's old golf pants...
