Like her daddy Donald, Ivanka Trump is expanding her resume and this time it includes fine jewelry designer. Creating bling is not completely random for Ivanka; she grew up around her mother Ivana's stunning collection of diamonds and gems. Naturally, she drew inspiration from that, as well as from the pieces her father has given her throughout the years.
The collection, which will be sold exclusively at her own boutiques (the first opened in New York last week) includes simple and classic diamond and platinum earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. Hm.. not impressed.. I wouldn't buy those pieces even if they were at Forever 21. Hope she has some better pieces than what are shown.

15Jewelry is a passion of mine and I have very discriminating tastes. I can look at that stuff and just know that it will be overpriced. Enamel and crystals are cheap to use and I am sure that with her trying to pair them with diaminds they will try and drive the price up waaay to high. Doesn't NY have enough jewelry stores? Hell they even have the diamond district. Why shop at her cheesy store when you can sop at Judith Ripka, Lorraine Scwartz or Van Cleef etc?
