"Gossip Girl" debuted last week and though I was skeptical at first, it has done a fabulous job of nurturing my "The O.C." withdrawals.
In the second episode last night, Serena van der Woodsen's current frenemy Blair Waldorf had an exceptional wardrobe, one of them being a delicate white eyelet dress she wore to to a fundraiser brunch at a posh hotel. Like a true rich girl, she donned pearl bracelets, a girlie headband and just to spice things up, a pair of sexy patterned tights. Sticking with the innocent-but-sexy motif, she wore black patent Mary Janes on her feet.
Do you love her ensemble as much as I do? Get the look below...and don't forget to watch the show next week then check back here for more fabulous outfits!

I like the dress & shoes!
1love the look, but ill pass on the hundred dollar tights and find some cheaper ones. thanks fab for the inspiration!
2I really hated the headband she wore in the show - something a little simpler would have been much better!
3I loooved the dress and the shoes, but tights aren't my thing at ALL.
4is it me or does she kinda look like rachel bilson.
5I actually hate this outfit. I feel like it's a "How would you wear it?" The dress is pretty, but not with the tights (which could be nice with a non-white eyelet dress). I love the shoes, though. Oh, and I hate the headband. It's too over the top cutesy. I loved Serena's brunch outfit, though.
6omg I didnt even notice the tights were $106...no thanks..I'll go to Claire's for that..but I wouldnt wear this with tights anyway..so
7LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!
8p.s. that dress is very Lilly Pulitzer-esque
9Does anyone know who makes the dress that she was actually wearing????? I LOVE IT!!!!! Can anyone find out?
10
11she looks a lot like katherine mcphee. at certain parts of the show, when she makes a certain expression, its scary how much she resembles her. i luv the outfit, especially the shoes!
12I watched it for the first time last night and couldn't get into it. Although I agree that she does look like Katherine McPhee and I do love the white dress! Thanks for featuring it Fab. I am sure a lot of trends may come from this show.
13Ooh, I'm so glad you guys are doing this one. I only caught a few minutes of the show, but I could tell the clothes were fab.
14adorable ensemble.
15Me too!
16That outfit is incredible, I love it. Cute and sexy without showing any skin. The tights add a bit of an edge. Just beautiful.
17I love how the tights work with the dress!
18Patterned dress, patterned tights? That's a big no-no. Surely stylists should know the basics about dressing people?
19$106 for tights... Are you serious? Tights rip way too easy for that much money!
20"I actually hate this outfit. I feel like it's a "How would you wear it?" The dress is pretty, but not with the tights (which could be nice with a non-white eyelet dress)... Oh, and I hate the headband. It's too over the top cutesy."
Agreed! White the pieces might be good, they shouldn't be worn at the same time.
21it's a very risky move i think and she can pull it off in a kind of "sex in the city" way. in real life you might look ridiculous trying to get away with something like that, but on a show like this, there are extreme fashion statements, almost like the runway.
i am dying for the double-breasted leather jacket that serena wore in the first episode. any idea who makes it? i've seen blogs list look alikes, but i'm looking for the real deal. thanks!
22Blair is the best!
23the whole GG wardrobe makes me drool.
24I want this show to be on air in Australia.
25I WANT ALL THE CLOTHES/BAGS/SHOES THAT SERENA AND BLAIR HAVE
26Cute dress, but lose the tights
27I simply love that outfit!!
28I love all the outfits on Gossip Girl! I consider it inspiration- yea, I probably won't buy $100 tights, but I WILL be trying to toughen up a girly dress with some black lace!
29nice dress but not so much with the Lace Tights
30this outfit reminds me of the way my mom used to dress me in primary school. it's so not shick to me. but i guess i was a fashionista then by your standarts
lol... and pearls and rubies on those girls look ridiculuos. i hold on to
mine till i'm over 35.
31love that outfit
32I love Leighton Meester! She's the perfect Blair Waldorf.
33And I think every outfit she wears on the show totally reflects Blair Waldorf's character.
From the bow headbands, to the preppy tights and the glamorous dresses... Perfect!
34I love Blair's dress....
P.S. to all gossip girl fans

36P.S. Anyone know who makes the silver tweed coat that Serena wears when she meets the girls on the steps of the Met in the pilot?
i loved that outfit..it totally suited blair!
37late on the commenting, but here are some beautiful tights for a fraction of the Wolford cost!

38This show is cheesy but very addictive. The clothes are really fab! It's like a teen version of Sex and the City!
39Love it!
40I LOVE Serenas boots form Michel Perry...arghh if anyone knows where to get themmmmm.
41xoxo
In the show the outfit looks perfect but in the real life I think i would had worn it with plain black tights
42adore
43I love Blair's look here, but I'm IN love with Serena's look on her date with Dan the night they had to save Jessie at the kiss on the lips party? The Gold one? Anyone know who amde the dress and what shoes did she do with the dress?
44god i love me some blair waldorf
45i love how she dresses, she is my inspiration
46yes the headband was kinda of distracting...but I love the outfits..I wish I would take risks like that!
47hi Blair was wearing a red coat with loose sleeves in episode 13 any idea what brand it is?????
48thanks
