Regardless to what the reviews say, I always have a special place in my heart for Marni. But yes, when surveying this eclectic look, I can be objective. The stiff white top is a little boxy for my taste, but the frilly navy undercarriage is quite pretty and unexpected. The jury's still out on those black satin clodhoppers...do you have a verdict?

3It reminds me of those white tarps stores put on their front windows while they are changing the displays.
I think what happened here is that the people at Marni forgot to make a top to go with the skirt, but they still want to show the skirt, so they took the tarp from the visual merchandising department and put it on the model.
