Jewelry designer Philip Crangi may have been born in the wrong century — he trained as a goldsmith, and is inspired by the long-past Greco-Roman and baroque periods — but he makes it work.
Together with his sister, Philip combines old-world techniques and materials to create beautiful heirloom pieces that are simultaneously very modern. Gold, wrought iron, and steel are the materials of choice, and their craftsmanship is such that they earned Philip Crangi Jewelry a nomination for the 2007 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award — no easy feat.
Philip Crangi is available at Barneys at runs $195-$2,825.

7Looked this guy up, and most of his stuff is ripping off Ted Ted Muehling. Bummer that people can not come up with their own ideas...
