Did I miss something? Since when is actress Emmy Rossum also a singer? Okay, I'll stop delving into Buzz's world and stick to fashion. Singer or not, Emmy's cobalt blue and black Jay Godfrey dress is darling. True, we've seen the babydoll style all year, but the color combo and light pleating keep it fresh. It's nice to see her in something age appropriate as she usually tends to look matronly on the red carpet.

I think I read somewhere that she was in school for vocal performance/opera before she became an actress.
When I went to Nascar earlier this year she sang the National anthem. It was weird.
I like the dress & shoes
Louboutin can do NO WRONG!
She's always been a singer. She was in the Metropolitan Opera before she started acting. That's why she was cast as Christine in the Phantom film.
yeah...she was AWESOME as Christine in Phantom! Go to her myspace and check her music...it's very Imogen Heap!
oh my gosh. LOVE those shoes.
Damn those shoes are hot... but seriously, how would those stay on your feet??!?!
Yep, she's always been a singer. An actually talented singer...not a pop, studio-produced wannabe. People were harsh on her, but I loved her version of Christine.
That said, love the dress. Jealous b/c I could never wear the shoes. Love CLs, but I do too much walking and could never stay in them! I think I've seen these on MK Olsen as well.
No offense to any one out there, but her singing was not up to par for Christine. In any case, not even the Broadway Christine's are usually up to par either. A friend of mine who worked on Phantom in London said that the best high notes are actually pre-recorded. LAME. I really hope he was lieing.
I love everything about this outfit. I wouldn't be surprised if the high notes were pre-recorded. She still did better than a lot of other people would've.
I love her style and I LOVE her. She has an album coming out sometime this month and she has an amazing voice. I love her songs.
She has a great voice!
this is an adorable outfit, and i agree, it's nice to see her in something a little "younger" looking!
Oh yeah, she's a singer alright. And if you haven't heard her new song and seen the video, well you just have to check it out. She sounds every bit as matronly as she usually looks, her music is... bleurgh! Be warned though, I watched the video on gofugyourself and my macbook turned into cheese. It's that's bad. I could go on but I keep eating bits of my keypad...

Cute look! I don't ever get tired of babydoll dresses.
love love love this look! unfortunately....sometimes, i'm too tall for babydoll dresses....i look like a giant 8 year old or something.
love the whole look
i love that dress, and she's got my dream shoe designer on ♥louboutin
very cute!
She is a professionally-trained Opera singer, she'd been singing long before she started acting!
I'v never heard her.
i looove those shoes. the dress is cute too but not everyone can wear those. like sometimes, on certain body types, it makes you look pregnant
she looks cute..... every time i see her i think "rachel bilson" dont know why
Love the dress
Fashion disaster.
