I don't think it's too goth OR too depressing. I just think it's boring.
I wear a lot of black, just because it's an easy color to wear and it's slimming. But if I'm wearing a black top I never wear black bottoms (and vice versa), and I always try to break it up
with a bright accessory or something.
The exception is that I don't have a problem wearing an LBD with black shoes.
I am a HUGE fan of the all-black look. In fact, I think I probably wear all black 5 out of 7 days week...
It is not necessarily boring, lots and lots of amazing items come in black, and in my opinion it's always chic and put-together looking.
I love wearing all black to work. I've noticed it's a favorite of all the power players in my office, and it's usually with very sleek lines. I work with a lot of RTW/fashion buyers, so I
take some cues from them but keep things classic. This week it was black trousers, a fitted black cardigan with a black satin belt, and black heels. I felt six feet tall.
two words: audrey hepburn. if anyone made it alright to wear all black, it was her. i'm actually wearing my "ode to audrey" outfit at work today- black turtleneck, skinny black capri pants
and black ballet flats. easy to wear and instantly classy!
I wear black A LOT. and I'm not goth or anything. I just like how it looks on my body, and with my skin and hair color. I dont' tend to wear ALL black on a daily basis. Maybe a black top or
bottom + shoes + bag...usually for work I can pull off that all black look with the right accessories.
I think whether it looks goth or not depends on how you wear all black. If there's a lot of leather and chokers and studs and spikes and stuff like that, then it would look goth.
An all black suit? Not goth. Maybe too secret-agent/man-in-black, which can actually be kind of a fun way to freak out strangers, but not goth and not depressing.
I do it all the time. It makes me feel powerful and aloof not to mention dang sexy! Sometimes i'll break it up with some bright red dangly earrings or a long necklace.
I actually am Goth...so I prefer to wear all black. It makes me happy. Don't get me wrong...I don't wear all the face makeup...I prefer to dress more romantigoth or sophisticated.
I wear all black almost every day. I try to mix up the pieces, but I pretty much live in my black Levi's and hoodie. I never wear black shoes though! Always bright or metalic colors, even my
bike shoes are black and silver. I used to worry about it looking to depressing or even agressive... but I'm a pretty cheery person so I really don't think I come across that way for the most
part.
I agree with WhiplashGirlchild...if you put a splash of color it could work fine..also i agree with the one who said wearing a LBD with black pumps would be fine too..
I am very guilty of doing this, but I feel like I can pull it off because I am a blonde with green eyes so I don't look goth when I do it. Also, I have a variety of clothes in different
styles, so its not like I am wearing a uniform of black pants and a black top everyday. Besides... a little accessorising can go a long way!!!
Oh and I titlly rocked the Audrey outfit artisterin mentioned this week. It was a hit!
i love head to toe black..sometimes i´ll mix it with white (gee, ever the risk taker) to make it little bit more elegant. But black is an amazing colour: mysterious, slimming and ver
sexy.
Though, i must admit that when i flat iron my dark, long hair and i´m wearing mostly black i´ve been called morticia (cause i have very fair skin and blue eyes, lol)
Black just makes me feel more confident. I love it and I love wearing black from head to toe.... I also have very dark hair and like wearing black eyeliner... but I'd never consider myself
goth.

I like black in appropriate doses. I can't wear black from head to toe because of my skin and hair color. I can wear evening black if there is skin showing.
I love all black and wear it frequently. I have honey blonde hair and that goes a long way toward de-gothing an outfit. Even when I'm wearing actual goth clothes, as long as the jewelry and
shoes are mainstream, and there's not TOO much lace fluttering in the wind, no one seems to notice.
I'd love to wear all black sometime, but I'm so pale that it makes me look drab and colorless. I recently got my hair cut really really sohrt, so if I ever wear all-black, hopefully folks
will know that I'm channeling Jean Seberg, not Wednesday Addams.
I'm a born-again all black wearer nowadays after getting a little too nauseated at the many shades of yellow that was the in color for spring and summer this year. I do like to throw in a
splash of color with that black too though, ie I'll wear my all black ensemble with a pair of red sandals or tan carry-all etc.
This made me smile since I'm currently wearing head to toe black. I don't think I'd want to wear it every day but done right it can look classy and stylish.
i voted im a believer
but i change my mind.
i think it depends on what your actually wearing.
wear it like in the picture or just a little black dress
OR someone might wear all black a velvet skirt with lace exaggerated gothic corset and chunky plastic boots.
well im imaginative.
but i really think it just depends what your actually wearing.
sorry so the long comment and all the detail haha.
I'm an all-black-wearer-all-the-time...er...um. I wear black clothes all the time, yeah, lol. I guess it all comes down to preference. I'm not a follower of trends(most of the time), like
you'll never see me in bright red-blue-green-yellow jeans but I do love my dark denim skinny jeans with high heels and a black tunic top.
i wear black a lot because i like to and it makes me look thinner. i love the punk/goth look and thats what kind of clothes i wear. black can look too depressing of done wrong.
i LOVE doing all black.... with a splash or 2 of intense color. like a detailed black button down with feminie details, pencil skirt, texture tights, topped off with cherry red patent high
heel maryjanes and a lush purple leather satchel. trust me, its that demure-sexy vibe to a T

In this week's Gossip Girl, Blair Waldorf demonstrates that there's nothing like a red sparkly dress to make you stand out at a party. Although her exact Marchesa dress isn't available online, this one is quite similar.
From brushing your way to Demi Moore's hair to faking a glow like Ginnifer Goodwin's, stars and their hair and makeup stylists share their top tips for getting gorgeous
"other."
once in a while...a *great* while...it *can* look elegant and gorgeous, but only when done in moderation. unless you're a rock star (or wanna-be)!

6at least throw on a colored scarf or shoes.
7i hate wearing all black.
8I wear black A LOT. and I'm not goth or anything. I just like how it looks on my body, and with my skin and hair color. I dont' tend to wear ALL black on a daily basis. Maybe a black top or bottom + shoes + bag...usually for work I can pull off that all black look with the right accessories.

10I love wearing all black! It feels so comfy and there's really nothing to worry about. You can def make an all black outfit sexy...believe me, I have.
11I think it looks very classy if done right!
12I do it all the time. It makes me feel powerful and aloof not to mention dang sexy! Sometimes i'll break it up with some bright red dangly earrings or a long necklace.
13I gave up all black in high school. unless i am going to become a cat burglar i stay away from it.
14I love all black outfits, cause they make me look thiner and I love the colour AND I look sophisticated! Phew, a lot of things to like about black!
15I actually am Goth...so I prefer to wear all black. It makes me happy. Don't get me wrong...I don't wear all the face makeup...I prefer to dress more romantigoth or sophisticated.
16i used to wear all black because i thought it looked put together. now i feel that wearing all black reminds me of going to a funeral.
17I'll wear a black top and pants (maybe the shoes too.) However I have to wear a bright/bold accessory to bring life to the outfit.
18Sure, I don't see the problem and I agree with looseseal if an all-black outfit has spikes or whatever it makes it goth, not it being black...
19I wear all black almost every day. I try to mix up the pieces, but I pretty much live in my black Levi's and hoodie. I never wear black shoes though! I love wearing all black - most of my wardrobe is black. It's all in how you accessorize it, whether or not you wind up looking goth.
24I don't think it's too goth. I do it occasionally, not every day. I agree that it's slimming and chic!
25Black just makes me feel more confident. I love it and I love wearing black from head to toe.... I also have very dark hair and like wearing black eyeliner... but I'd never consider myself goth.

30I sometimes wear all black. It feels powerful to do it, but I do it every once in a while. Otherwise I'd look like Morticia Addams all the time

32Nothing wrong with it.
33I wear LOTS of black layering ( all black )...it works when you just don't know what to wear or when you feel FAT!
34Head to toe black, or any colour for that matter, is slimming.
35i could never wear black on black
36Ha! I'm doing it today. I don't usually do it, but sometimes it's cute because nobody does it anymore.
37I would never pull it off. It seems to boring to be wearing just one color. If I had to, I'd have to spice it up with some bright accessories.
38I wear all black pretty much everyday... in a high fashion way of course.
39Let's ne honest ladies!
You can never go wrong with black!
Going to a cocktail party? Little black dress.
First Day on the job? Black Ruffle chiffon button up top with black slacks and black pumps.
You always look good in black. and it always looks grown up and chic.
40I'm a born-again all black wearer nowadays after getting a little too nauseated at the many shades of yellow that was the in color for spring and summer this year. 43Every time I go to an design/fashion/art cocktail party -- I can count on being awash is a sea of sheep-like-hip-youth smartly dressed in black.
It's a uniform for the insecure. It screams, "I'm afraid of risk. I'm terrified of being authentic. I must blend in and be like everyone else."
Wearing all black is a safe but boring fashion choice.
Very appropriate for funerals, though.
44I'm an all-black-wearer-all-the-time...er...um. I wear black clothes all the time, yeah, lol. I guess it all comes down to preference. 45i wear all black a lot more than most combos...love the photo by the way!
46Definitely depends on how its done... some people look too goth, but otherwise it can look well put-together.
47I don't wear all black. I have to put a pop of color somewhere.
48i wear black a lot because i like to and it makes me look thinner. i love the punk/goth look and thats what kind of clothes i wear. black can look too depressing of done wrong.
