Gloves have many personalities. First and foremost, gloves can be ladylike — hello Audrey Hepburn. They can also be tough and ooze attitude, a la Madonna. As well, they can communicate cozy chic and aristocrat, Doctor Zhivago anyone? Go on, play around with your identity via gloves, you'll be glad you did!

It's very cold where I live, so I admit I mostly think about how warm they are!

4Good timing! I just sewed up a fab white short jacket with 1/2 length wide sleeves so I needed some long gloves to keep the chill off my forearms. I got some elbow-length beige, soft leather gloves from Zara for £29 and they're so lovely to wear. I just feel more glamorous whenever I wear them...
