After finally breaking it off with Kate Moss, he's recently given an engagement ring to model Irina Lazareanu. The two have known each other for years — Irina used to be the drummer for Pete's band Babyshambles until, ironically, Kate introduced her into modeling. I guess, as they say, a couple that plays together, stays together...

I'm still convinced that the press has got it wrong and that she's actually engaged to Sean Lennon. There's no statement specifically stating that it's Doherty she's engaged to.
P.S. His new album is BRILLIANT, as is the majority of the rest of his work (solo, Libertines, first Babyshambles record). Yes, he's messed up his personal life big time, but there's no denying he's a prolific and talented songwriter/musician.

39First, the information could be very, very flawed. I mean, there's one article that says she's got an engagement ring and it's assumed it's from Peter since they've been spotted together like..3 times since the Moss breakup. Second, Peter and Irina have at least dated before(if not engaged before), back in like 1997. So it really shouldn't be such a shock, considering they've been close for like 10 years. Anyway, they're very much alike, same taste in poetry and music and even fashion-so if it's true, awesome
