Before discovering Acne Jeans, the only thing I associated acne to was a face. It's a cheeky name for a jean and women's/men's clothing company because it's attention grabbing. The brand was founded in 1997 when 100 pairs of jeans were designed and distributed to friends, family and clients. That's a generous gift!
Before they knew it, stores wanted to carry the denim with bright red stitching. The first official collection was launched in 1998 and creative director Jonny Johansson has worked to make the brand the success it is today. Besides jeans, the company also offers a women's collection, men's collection and accessories.
Retail prices for women's denim run from $200 and up; the women's collection is equally pricey.

nice shoes!
1i dont like them =o[
2love the bag.
3I want that monochrome bag!
4Is it me or are price for clothes seem to be going up and up?
5mcollazo- I was out shopping yesterday with my mom, and we were having this same conversation. I could never spend $200 on jeans, especially when they look like the Jordache's I wore back in the day!
6Who knew acne was so expensive! Thank god I have insurance!
7Denim is denim no matter what the thread count. Jeans have no reason to cost that much. That's gotta be like 1000% profit. That's just not capitalistic. Plus, they're not that great looking anyway. I have better ones I bought at Penny's for $15-$20!! Dumb.
8not only are they super expensive but they're ALWAYS super long. last time i checked, not every woman is 6' tall. I don't even waste my time browsing through designer jeans. I have better luck with jeans from lower end stores like express, where they make "short" jeans for anyone who's vertically challenged like myself!
9^ In addition to all, why would I want to buy "Acne" jeans? And how is it cheeky exactly? Im not all about brand names, I just wouldnt buy ones that are stupidly named and overrated.
10Swedish jeans are great! Yay! Acne is by far the best jeans brand, I think. They're classic and go with everything
11i agree with you littlemissme! i love these jeans, they are perfect!
12Gotta love Acne jeans!
13cheap mondays are far better. and cheaper.
14it's about time you guys took the time to showcase ACNE.. widely imitated but never, EVER matched in sheer style and elegance.
15I don't care what you guys have to say about pricing. Though cheap mondays retail for cheaper, the two are incomparable. Period.
I love Acne Jeans. I'm 5'4" and have had some pairs hemmed very very slightly but overall not had a problem with length. I just recommend hand-washing these to avoid shrinkage.
