Ha. I was going to say, I'd give it a chance for $59.50, not $595. I always want to buy vegan shoes, but the cute ones are so expensive! Ah, Stella — why can't we have a diffusion line?

$595 for shoes is crazy, although those are cute shoes. I guess at least pleather can be trendy and expensive. I'm a vegetarian and I wonder if people just think I'm cheap for not wearing leather shoes. I go to Payless, it has a lot of pleather!

why would anyone pay $600 for a pair of plastic shoes?

pleather is my saviour since I'm vegan. I'd love to have those but they're so expensive She makes some awesome shoes and I would pay if I had the money.

I had previously read that Stella doesn't use leather, but then I saw a product and convinced myself that it was. One day when I was shopping I saw an absolutely beautiful charcoal gray purse and fell in love with it. I thought...what a beautiful patent leather bag and I bought it. When I got home and researched it I realized it was plastic. I almost felt like returning it b/c it is too expensive for plastic. I ended up keeping it b/c it doesn't look like plastic at all.

i won't pay 595 for pleather

stella mccartney is a major designer so her shoes are appropriately priced; pleather or leather, you are paying for her name. personally, i think she is awesome for bringing compassion and fashion together.

it's great that she's using these 'cheap' materials and making them upmarket with her awesome designs and her famous designer name. but the price of it is say, comparable to louboutins who use genuine materials. so, 595 does not entirely justify the value shoes other than just tagging her name to imitation leather.
