I love Helmut Newton's fashion work and I think that Mario Testino's nude shoot of Stephanie Seymour in V magazine is quite stunning apart from the pic of her sitting astride the toilet, even
in a billion dollar mansion, it seems a little declasse.
I love nudity in print, especially for accessories such as jewelry. I think us Americans are a little too prudish sometimes. The human body is beautiful!
I think nudity in art can be beautiful, but when I pick up a fashion magazine or flip through a fashion spread in a lifestyle magazine, I expect to see clothes, not emaciated ladyparts.
It's not so much the nudity that gets to me, it's the NO CLOTHES part.
Nude shots can be beautiful if done tastefully, but in fashion photography, it just seems like there should be clothing. Even if, say, the shot above were about the shoes, the shoe becomes
the second glance if all you see are the model's naughty bits on display. It becomes less about the shoe, and more about Sex Sells. I just think fashion photography should showcase the
product, not make it secondary.
Certainly, all one need to do is step inside a museum and take note of all the gorgeous sculptures depticting the female nude and see where artists, photographers, designers and editorial art
directors get their inspiration!

i don't like it at all, nudity in fashion can be beaytifull but i find this little ordinary
