Not too long ago, I gave you a solution for slippery soles. As you're about to find out, there's more than one way to get rid of this issue and it doesn't involve spending a fortune. Because why pay money for the solution when the actual problem (i.e. these gorgeous Guess Pyramid Slingback Pumps, $120) are already pricey enough?

You're looking at a can of 7UP because this, or any other soda, is what's going to help you get rid of your slippery soles. Just open the can, spill a little bit of the liquid on a cement ground or in a bowl, and lightly dip the soles of your shoes in it. Now you're good to go...without slippage!
I got these little patch things from Aldo that stick to the bottom.
1And you also said put those X'S on too
2You can also spray it with hair spray.
3Pretty shoes!
4i like the shoes! and while i generally don't spend more than $100 on shoes, it's definitely a better price than the $500+ on a lot of them.
5does it not make the shoes sticky and gross? like with hair and dust stuck to the bottom?
6Pretty shoes.
7Nope, it doesn't Nikkeeb! I've done it before with no problems. xo.
8i just use the solution my mom taught me when i was a little girl - wear the new shoes outside and scuff around in them for a few minutes.
of course, i don't have the heart to do that to my louboutins....
9Yes ladies I work at Aldo and we sell these patches for only $3.99
10I have quite a few pairs for my Aldo heels
Wow! Thanks for the tip! But.. how did someone invent this solution? I mean.. it's weird
11That's what I was thinking too Nikkeeb - I'll try it though!
12Oh that would have been perfect the other day with my suede mary janes. It poured like crazy and I almost slipped on the hardwood at my work!! Thanks Fab!
13The only downside to those Aldo patch things is they don't last a very long time. They wear off after a while, and you're left with the same slippery shoes you started with.
14great color!
15Wouldn't the soda wash off in the rain aistea311?
