Cashmere is great - when you find it in lower end stores (like Banana Republic) it's sooooooo thin and way overpriced for the ply that it is IMO. I've bought cashmere from "inexpensive"
stores on sale and it's not worth it. But the good stuff is well worth it - and it lasts forever. Just take good care of it.
Cashmere is okay. I've always thought it was still pretty scratchy and it's such a pain in the butt to maintain. I prefer merino, or a cashmere-merino blend. Soft and cuddly without the
itchiness!
Cashmere makes me itch, too. Poor hubby spent a ton on a sweater for me as a gift-- I can't wear it, even with another shirt underneath! Yay for cotton.
Cashmere is luxurious, but it depends on the quality. You'll have to pay even more for the really good stuff, but it will last you forever. My favorite are the J. Crew cashmere hoodies.
cashmere is great but like everything else there's the good kind and the bad kind...the cheaper ones aren't that great because they pill and these are usually the ones you get from target
(stretch and pill...completely loses its shape)...the more expensive kind are expensive for a good reason...either it's woven differently, or they use a different dye process....there's
always something...
I totally agree with bdlgoldens! Cashmere and Bacon forever! But the truth is that cashmere is better, Loro Piana cashmere being the best. I will let you all in on a little secret, J Crew
cashmere is made in the same factory as Loro Piana therefore using the same cashmere! And JCrew cashmere sweaters are $150 to $200! As opposed to Loro Piana which start at $1000! Go on the
site now and grab as many as you can! I only wear cashmere and all of it comes from J Crew! Trust me, they are well worth it and totally affordable! Cashmere and Bacon forever!
what's with all the bacon? ewwwww. cashmere still exists in my wardrobe but since it comes from an animal i imagine the cheaper stuff means = more torture for the animal.

Jenna Dewan walked down the street in Beverly Hills looking extremely chic and poised. Her structured white blazer framed her body perfectly, and paired well over her draped fringe Haute Hippie halter which she wore with denim leggings and over-the-knee brown boots.
From flowy red carpet gowns and body-skimming minis to casual leggings and cute shorts, this fashionable mom-to-be won't let a growing belly crimp her chic day-to-day style
cashmere is great! but def overpriced, in my opinion. then again, when you're a poor student, everything seems overpriced.
1Cashmere's rep doesn't matter to me. It's still wool, so I'm allergic to it. Boo.
2there is nothing better than cashmere except maybe bacon
3I sorta do, I have a cashmere cardigan that I love.
4i luv cashmere. i save up for it
5I love cashmere too and cashmere sweaters don't really itch like other regular wool sweaters.
6If I could afford it, I'd buy it, I'd love to get one free, how about it?

10Cashmere is nice but I'm not totally ga ga over it.
11I can't wear it!!!! I think Cashmere is WAYYYYY to itchy haha! my mom always called me crazy, but I can't stand the itchiness of it!
12Cashmere makes me itch, too. Poor hubby spent a ton on a sweater for me as a gift-- I can't wear it, even with another shirt underneath! Yay for cotton.
13Cashmere & bacon!
I agree!
14cashmere feels nice, but I don't ONLY wear cashmere. If I like it, and the price is right, I'll get it. Otherwise, cotton works just as well for me.
15Haha. Once you go cashmere, you never go back! So true.
16Cashmere is worth the price

18My cashmere always pills. It's very annoying.
19Yum, bacon!

26Cashmere, is my fave! I jcrew cashmere is one I always save for.
27I've never really been a cashmere fan, but it does feel nice and soft. It is overpriced in my opinion, I feel the most comfy in cotton stuff.
