Following in a long line of AP lovelies, Kate Moss and Maggie Gyllenhaal included, Lily Allen has supposedly been tapped as the new face of the lingerie line. Her advertisements won't be revealed until next Spring, but the AP owners are excited, because they feel that her voluptuous curves will appeal to lots of women.
Agent Provocateur has really started to cater their lingerie to a wide spectrum of women lately, first photographing a post-pregnancy Maggie, and now with Lily Allen, who is publicly proud of her curves. Do you think that she was a good choice to represent the brand?
This just in! The Lily Allen-for-AP rumors remain rumors, but French actress Vahina Giocante has been confirmed as the newest face. It's always good to hear your opinions on the Lily possibility, though, so keep sounding off.

2I like the idea of a bigger women modelling panties, but not her. It seems a little wrong to me.
3I don't know that someone who has recently been preaching the virtues of hypnosis for weight loss really qualifies as "publicly proud of her curves." She is NOT curvy and she is clearly not publicly proud of her (non-existent) curves if she's lost a whole bunch of weight and making it known to everyone.

16I think its great to see more humanized women in the media but Lilly Allen is going around talking about losing weight trough hypnosis which is just desperate and weird especially since she has never been obese.
17It kind of bothers me that a singer has to do this at all, I feel sorry for all those models losing work because of stiff celebrities who even if they are more relatable soemtimes because they're not as perfect as models, will only get photoshopped into looking like models anyway. Besides Lilly Allen should grow up and learn to be humble and shut up. She's always talking crap about other people, and opinions are great but she just bashes other celebs while being in the public eye and the sad part is that some of the people she bashes are more talented than she'll ever be.
They can not have Kate Moss then go to Lily Allen. She doesn't photograph well, Kate Moss at least photographs elegantly.

Remember how sexxxy Maggie's AP ads were? How is Lily going to even come close to that? Case in point - look at what she is wearing in the pic that accompanies this article. How are filthy old trainers (that likely came out of the dumpster in back of the arena) even remotely hot?

20She's not proud of her curves at all - did anyone else read the teary, self-hating monologue she wrote on her blog a few months ago? She was going on how fat she is and how she'd like gastric bypass surgery.
Now she's lost a lot of weight (I think that pic is old) and suggenly she's worthy of being in a lingerie ad campaign? Sure, that's fine, but let's not pretend that this is sending a positive message!

30she doesn't seem to fit the barnd at all. Its not about her size it's more about her. She's not the person you'd expect to seen in lingerie, I don't think she has that sex appeal.
31I have no comment on the weight loss aspect, I just don't think her image fits with the company at all. I still associate her with vintage prom dresses and big trainers. AP seems a bit more grown up and sophisticated- I can hardly imagine her wearing corsets and suspenders.
