Recently celebs have been marching the streets in strong, structured military-inspired coats. It's obvious why. These statements in outerwear provide a sort of fashion armor; you can take on the big bag world in a determined jacket with regal flair such as brass buttons and charismatic collars. I adore the way Sienna wears hers below — who cares what she's wearing underneath it, her fashion armor and her hairy tail-wagging troops are ready for battle. Let the fashion face off begin.

A good military coat has to have: Epaulets and a Very High Neck.
