I'm all for helping the environment but this Eco-Friendly Um Tote by John Jakus ($115) looks more like a magazine rack than a purse. It's made of factory excess industrial wool felt which would otherwise be thrown away. It's a cool concept so maybe instead of a handbag, I'll use it to store my magazines. What do you think?

Ugly
Ummm how about noooo...
I wouldn't carry it, but I love industrial felt so much that I can't say "hate it."
good concept but UGLY design!
I just like the idea of not wasting scraps.. it's awesome seeing the fashion industry going full speed into making clothing/accessories green!! I would rock that purse!
why do eco-friendly things have to look eco-friendly?
no thank you
a little re-designing and you could have two great corrective shoes
I REALLY hate that bag...so ugly.
is that even a BAG???
oh c'mon, thats the best they could come up with
LOL @ sugarsister...
Def looks better as a mag rack.
The eco-friendly idea is fab. The design is UGGGly. I voted hated it.
hate it
$115!!!!????? Crazy lot of money for something made from scraps and that is that ugly
this looks like it made from the mats for the car floor. NOT CUTE!!!
i like the concept of it all but its just not a good color or fabric
I like it but find it expensive!
It's eco friendly, whats not to love about that?
Fashion wise, It's a hate.
So I choose love because It's not that horrible.
very odd looking.
well at least it can double as a weapon
the concept is great, but the execution, not so much. I could see this on the arm of an older, artsy, hip woman though.
Some kid must have made that in Home Ec Class! Try again!
Egads! Yeah, use it as a magazine holder and then shove it under the bed.
wow....thats all i can say
