Erin Fetherston's Target collection isn't supposed to hit stores until November 18, but in true Target form, some pieces are already available online, including the dress at left and a cute ivory cocoon coat.
This collection has been polarizing — either you Love It or Hate It — because of its super girly-girl feel. The peter pan collars, heart bags, and minidresses were all showcased during a (too) long introductory commercial that you probably caught if you watched The Hills last night.
Have a good long gaze at the collection below, and then spill: will you be hitting the Erin Fetherston racks at Target?

The coat with the bubble hem is definitely CATCHING my eye...
1This collection seems to be aimed at pre-teens. All the dresses are too short, shapeless, and half are covered in childish patterns.
2DCStar I agree.
I saw a commercial for this last night and was not impressed.
3i think my target mistakenly put the collection out early because i was able to get the jacket with the bow near the neck! it's really cute if you like super girly and frilly clothing. my only gripe is that nothing came in size 0. =(
4I love this collection, it's so pretty and girlie. Not sure I could pull any of it off, though.
5Not really a fan of the designer collections for Target. The finishing is a little off and they all look cute online but horrible in person.
6i don't get the sizing -- 12.0 15.5 ....???
7Way too girly for me. I like dressign w/ an edge or something like that! LOL Yeah that commercial last night was entirely too long.
8It's like Alice in Wonderland meets Twiggy. Creepy something would be cute if they weren't so overly stylized
9I was at Target today and some pieces are already there!
10while i agree that a lot of the pieces are overly styled, i have to say that in each target collection that's been released, there are always a few items that are AMAZING. which is true again in this case.
11Ugh, I don't like any of it. It looks like a little young girl off to her grandmothers house for the holidays.
12love it!!!
13soprettyinpink - none of the Target go International designer collections come in a size zero. It's technically junior clothes, so it's juniors sizing, which means the smallest size is size 1
14A couple of the pieces are okay.
15Definitely NOT my favorite. What is up with that heart shaped handbag...GAG!!!
16I would wear some of the pieces but not all of them.
17Horrible.
xoxo
18thanks for the info syako!
19that commercial was WACK.
20OMG I lóve the dress in the mainpicture and the heels too!
The rest is not thát
amazing..
21Oh my goodness I can't wait! I'm going down to the US next Wednesday (Nov 21) and I'm actually going to be able to get my hands on this line!!!
22I love the dollhouse-esque look, it suits me
This collection is horrible! Perhaps if I was 14 I would consider buying some of it. The shapes are definitely unflattering not to mention that the patterns look cheap and juvenille. Glad I saw it online before making a special trip to check it out.
23bransugar, I agree-- very Twiggy! Not my style.
24i absolutely *hate* hearing myself say this...but if i were ten years younger, maybe fifteen, i'd snatch up the entire collection. i'd look like a fool if i wore any of those pieces today...
25Very juvenile...yes...but cute!
26i remember seeing this months ago in a preview on this site. that's a grown woman in little girl clothes. gross!
27any adult woman would look completely ridiculous in most of this stuff.
all the "designer" clothes at target are usually 99% hideous and poorly made, and they end up on the 70% off rack. I dont think they could give some of it away.
28This all looks so unshapely-I am gonna have to check it out in person.
29caterpillarGirl, that's definitely not true at my Target. In fact, a lot of the pieces go quickly. Sure there are a few from each collection that make it to clearance, but I'd say it's quite an overstatement to say they all end up on clearance.
30btw, I own a piece from every target collection and none of it has been poor quality and I've gotten a lot of wear out of every piece.
31I ended up with a lot of pieces from the Alice Temperley line and I just love them. Every piece i have is very well made and extremely flattering. Granted, not every piece in the collection is like that. I found most of what was in stores was the worst of the collection rather than the best.
Most of this collection doesn't do much for me. Too cutsy and little girly. Shapeless dresses and hearts on everything...not my thing. However, there are a few things that I'm eager to see. I love the matching black jacket and skirt, the black sweater with the bow and the white skirt, the red shorts and blouse, and the black satin mini skirt and blouse with black buttons. Those actually have a bit of sophistication and feel very late 60's early 70's which i really like. I'm looking forward to seeing how everything fits.
32I love the bubble hem jacket, some of it is too girly for my taste but I think if you mix it with the separates it might be really cute.
