Here is a holiday beauty suggestion: I like to add an incognito splash of color to my eyelashes. Colored mascaras are especially fun to wear during the day when the sun can reflect the color off your fluttering lashes. At night, colored mascara can add some pizazz to a smoky eye. And don't forget about glittery make-up, to create an even more glam-rock face. Here are my picks:

Kiss Me Mascara in Purple, also available in blue, $24, buy it here.

Sephora Mascara Fantastic Color, colors: Auburn, Blue, Brown, Green, Violet, $6, buy it here.
A couple more, so read more

Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara in Deep Auburn, on sale for $3.99, buy it here.

Vincent Longo The Curl Mascara, color photo not available but this comes in Auburn Musk (golden pink copper), Indigo Nite (navy blue) and Shirazmitaz (burgundy plum), $23, buy it here.

What a neat idea!!!
1I remember the Blue mascara back in the early 90's. Although I think I'd rather forget, LOL.
2Mmmm, mascara and lipgloss are my favorite make-up items. I love my lashes.
3How fun! Just FYI that Kiss Me mascara requires some real practice.
4Really? Why is that, Jen?
5I have to admit that I haven't tried it. But, from what I understand it's a totally different kind of mascara and it creates like a little silicone tube around each lash. When you take it off at night, everyone says you see those little tubes fall off into the sink looking like spider legs or something. So, it's supposedly a fabulous volumizer with incredible staying power, but it takes some real practice so don't give up too quick.
6YIKES!!!
Ewwww.....
7I know, right!? I'm scared to try it. And yet I really want to.
8I bet it looks FAB but how freaky would it be to have the little spiderleg-like things fall off in the sink
9Yes, I totally want you to try and show us the results
I'll get right on that.
10That's craziness Jen!
11I agree atoxicsparkle.
