One of your good friends is about to have a lil version of herself, and to celebrate, you're throwing her a baby shower. It's a casual affair, just the lady of honor and a few of her closest gal pals, so your outfit should be nothing over-the-top. And no Jimmy Choos: we wouldn't want what happened to Carrie Bradshaw to happen to you!
I'll start you off with this J Brand 'Pallatzo' Denim Pants ($218) because it's a great denim wash and simply: comfy chic. Come back and tell me when your Fab Finds are up and tag them baby shower.
Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits with, and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab Finding missions.

i love the jeans! i really want a pair for myself! its on my list of boxing day buys!!
1I've been wanting these jeans since the beginning of the summer - sigh, maybe for christmas...
2I went for more of a complete look :
3What a coincidence - I was just posting this morning about how much I hate baby showers!
Anyway, I picked something cozy and warm:
4For this I went with a kind of neutral colors (red, browns, ivory) in case you don't know what the sex of the baby is. The open neck in the sweater kind of brought forth the open earrings and bangle, plus the clasp on the to-die-for bag by Hype (which I bought btw). Very casual, yet still put together.
5I put together a few pieces, none of which are very expensive, but still make for a nice outfit. I love this belted sweater top ($20), and it would look great with these jeans. The jacket ($50) will also work well - I don't like wearing long tops with wide leg jeans; the proportions look weird on me. These shoes ($128) are adorable - very casual, ballerina-style, in a fun color. They have a 2" heel - important because the pant leg is so long. Finally, an interesting bag ($64) and funky necklace ($9) keep the outfit cute and not stuffy.

7Those jeans look exactly like a pair I got at Forever21 - for $25
8Ugh I hate baby showers!
But I'll try this one later...
9Something colorful and cheery, perfect for a close friend's special day!
10I love those jeans!
11Btw, here's what I stirred up..

15I kept it pretty simple but i did add a cute little gift for the baby!
I totally forgot to post this yesterday!
16I'm so in love with this look! Woo! So here's why I picked these things: First off I love the playfulness of the colors and textures. The white cardigan will tone down that beautiful mustard and then the red silk scarf will add some flair. The bag is to die for and it perfectly ties in all the colors from the look.
And pardon me, but if (when!) I buy these jeans I would never ever hem them for flats - those trousers are for heels all the way! So if you're still appalled by that SATC episode with Carrie's Jimmy Choos (like I am, obviously) then you wouldn't care about wearing wedge heels to the shower.

18Here's mine...it sort of blends feminine and masculine pieces...which happened to be peach (pinkish) and blue. Oops...a little cliche, but totally by accident.
