Looks like fuchsia is here to stay. This Dior Ethnic Large Hobo Bag ($916), posted by biochemlovely in the Love It or Hate It? group proves its staying power. I always encourage wearing brights, but this bag may be hazardous to the eyes. Plus, the leather whipstitching is way too early '90s for my taste. Do you share my sentiments or am I alone in this?

I love it, first it's a little bit much, but i can work with it, i like special things, and love the color
I think it would be great for a day when you wnated to cute thigns up a bit! I liek the colout too!
Yuck. Looks like something you'd pick up at Claire's for ten bucks.
Ick.
I totally agree with Fab. This is painful to look at - for so many reasons.
Gross.
Hate... that's hideous
Yuck!
very ugly.
LOVE IT!!!! My fav color!!!!
I agree Whiplash. Why spend 1K when it looks like Forever 21 sale-bin?
It reminds me of something that my 13 year old students would carry...
mmm... looks like mine, but mine is black
Ok, I know I'm in the minority, but I like it. I love the pink and I think the whipstiching is cool. I wouldn't spend $900 on it though.
its alright I suppose
reading "ethinic bag" i thought i was about to see some fabulous indian boho prints all patched together in some fabulous array of dior chicness. this bag looks like paris hilton designed it.
Do not want.
It's kind of cute, but the color and the material don't mix well.
i think its hideous. that fuschia is way too in your face in my opinion. and it looks super cheap.
how on earth is that bag $900?
i see soo many hookers walk around with these downtown
gross
Looks like something Elle Woods would wear
Yuck!
if i were still in high school, i know i would see someone with that bag in january because they got if for christmas...i would hate to see that on anyone over 17...and even if you are 17 its still an ugly bag!
Hate! For a pricey handbag it looks cheap.
GROSS!!! And even more gag-worthy is the name. C'mon! An "ethnic" hobo? In fuschia?!? Get real.
Hate the fabric, hate the stitching, hate the heart. It just looks cheap and tacky. Fuchsia can work, but it needs to be a simple shape and all leather with no over the top detailing.
hate the stiching... yuck.
It's alright, but Dior can do better.
I'm not feeling that color, maybe in another color? maybe?
I keep my clothes pretty simple (white shirts/jeans) so I LOVE to wear bright colored accessories. Giant jewelry and bright bags. My favorite bag is a large bright green one with lime green hearts all over it. If I had the money this one would be right there on my arm all the time.
It looks too little girl-y.
I love pink but this one... well....
cheesy color
my niece would LOVE it. She's 9 months old.
love the color
Yeah, noooot a fan of the recent trend toward bags that look ideal for seven year olds. I wouldn't carry this if you paid ME the $916. Well...maybe for a few minutes. Whaaat, I have bills to pay, hah.
Hates it.
Absolutely hate the color, but the design in general is alright.
the bag doesn't look very "ethnic"... more crafty...
I don't like the fuschia and anyway, it looks like a hobo-style handbag and I really don't like the hobo-style handbags.
I agree that the stitching looks tacky, not like somethign Dior would make, but I love the color...
It's on sale now for $385.00 at eluxury.com. I disagree with most all of you. It doesn't look like Claire's or Forever 21. How do I know? Because I comparison shop all the time. I look at boutique bags, dept shop bags, designer bags, couture bags etc and I look at the cheap shops to see if they have anything comparable and believe me they don't. I also like hobo bags. I like the softness and the pouchiness of them. I love this bag. I would probably remove the heart attachment but that's it. If you got your hands on it in person it doesn't look cheap. I like things that stand out. Bags need not be cream and black all the time. Sometimes less IS more- but sometimes more is more to. It depends on how it all comes together.
