One-shoulder dresses had a strong presence earlier in the year at the Oscars and they're still wowing us today. Cate Blanchett, in Armani Privé stole the show, so why not do the same this New Year's?
One(derful) Shoulder dresses are great for ladies who have chiseled shoulders and want to show them off. If your problem areas are below the waist, opt for an asymmetrical frock to draw attention to your décolletage. I'd stay away from necklaces but would rock a gorgeous cocktail ring and retro open-toe pumps.

She looks wonderful
1looks great on her but i've never been a fan of one shoulder dresses...maybe b/c i have broad shoulders ::shrugs::
2Not my favorite style at all, but some are cute.
3Glamour's December issue just had an article about this!
4I do not like this trend.
5You also posted the most beautiful gray/fuscia one the other day. I liked that one so much I might try to recreate it for a new years dress.
6I am really in love with that purple one from vicky secret. I like how she puts it with jeans, it could also work for a nice new years eve dress. The only problem I have with dresses from there is there sizes are not to scale. I am very petite and last year, I got this gorgous (on the model) red dress, when I got it..it was way too big!! So I am scared to try for this again. In the end, my sister wore it and looked amazing!! so if you are really small..dont go for the vicky dresses.
