love it but can we PLEASE get off the whole no white after labor day. Who made up this ridiculous rule??? What's the basis behind it? .....exactly. I can't help but roll my eyes when I hear that.

Hey, even the preppiest and most conservative fashion voices these days are stating that the no-white-after-labor-day rule is officially null and void. Yeah, a white linen sundress in New York in December will probably look a bit ridiculous (even then there are exceptions!) but I think I look totally season appropriate in my white corduroys. Hah, and if it bothers you, just call it "winter white" even if it technically isn't.
