You can definitely see Chris Benz's background at J. Crew in this Randa Rugby Top ($487, originally $695) from his own label. It may be cashmere and have a pretty color palette, but would you shell out for this top or just find something similar — and less expensive — elsewhere?

I don't like this at all.
1I love it, but I would never spend that much on a top (even if it is cashmere). I would rather spend the money on a fab pair of shoes.
