Just when you thought the supermodels of the '90s have long retired, they come back in beautiful ads for top designer brands. Christy Turlington is the latest poster gal for Escada's Spring/Summer '08 collection. Zooming in on her flawless skin and slender bod, it's hard to believe she's a mother of two.
Her high-fashion poses, however, reveal her extensive experience in the industry. Maybe America's Next Top Model contestants can learn a thing or two from the veteran model. I love the simplicity of the background against the vibrancy of the clothes and bags. Christy is the perfect choice for these ads because she doesn't fade into the background, she also doesn't overpower the clothes. What do you think?

1They need to KEEP ON doing ads with actual models instead of actresses. I'm so tired of seeing someone on the cover of VOGUE that is in the next movie opening up....who cares?? I want to see MODELS

4The colors look gorgeous against the pale background and although Christy's bod looks great, i do not like the makeup! and i agree with citizenkane that they should keep on doin ads with actual models!!

9These ads are refreshingly non-gimmicky. I'm getting bored with ads that try to be edgy but end up just looking stupid and upstaging the clothing. *cough* dolce&gabbana *cough*

Christy Turlington is by far my all-time favourite model. Even if they have airbrushed her in these photos, her unique beauty is what shines. You cannot create that with photoshop ...

15We actually have a good look at the clothes not like some ads where it is all about recreating a scenario or a feeling or an attitude without showing the clothes/accessories. C. Turlington still has it!
