Before this, I didn't know there were degrees of being matchy matchy. Kate Hudson took the concept to a whole new level at a recent D&G party. I know that grey is a prevalent color right now, but that doesn't mean you have to wear it head to toe, literally.
The top half of Kate's outfit is quite lovely. It's only when you look down that you cringe. The satin and suede combination kills the look, because as we Fabazons know, fabrics are of utmost importance. If I were Kate, I'd pair the jeweled neck blouse with a black mini skirt, bare legs, and a hot pair of pumps.
How would YOU wear it?

no i dont think i would wear it.. sorry
1yuk she normally looks good. im not matchy matchy at all, so i would throw in some dark green..it looks so good with grey/silver..opaque tights for sure and mary janes.
2I'd pair it with some black skinnies and high heeled black ankle boots to toughen it up and tone down the glitzy factor
3I don't know...I like it because it is very her.
4It's ok. But is that a dress or a skirt and top?
If it's a skirt and top, I would opt for keeping the top (I lvoe it) and instead of the silver skirt, I would throw on some black dress pants with a silver pinstrip!
For shoes I would pick out some black pumps ith some silver highlighting/detailing and then a black clutch with a silver chain as the handles!
5Honestly the booties are the only part I'd keep. I hate the top & skirt.
6i wish the top was more of a short dress/tunic
7then i'd wear it with black leggings and black flats.
I personally love this look. I think the only thing I may get rid of would be the tighs.
8I'm not into it. I've never been a fan of Kate Hudson's fashion choices even though she seems to be always on the best dressed list.
9Put the top with skinny pants or something!
like this look, the too satiny skirt would be the only thing i'd let go
if the jewel top was longer like a tunic i'd wear the outfit as is...just get rid of that skirt...
10There is nothing salvagable about this outfit. There is too much of the top, too little of the skirt, and the shoes are just fugly and unflattering. As for the tights, ye gods, not even if you are the member of a chorus line.
11I'd wear it with black opaque tights and closed-toe black patent leather heels, mary janes or booties. If I was feeling a little sexier, I'd pair the dress with some metallic booties - maybe pewter.
12I'd wear it with black skinny pants and some awesome knee-high leather boots.
13i'd wear it with black skinny jeans and a pair of killer heels.
14not me..but girlfriend can pull of anything!
15yeah, i don't think i would have worn it at all.. i wasn't really feeling that outfit.. but if anything, maybe break the silver a little with some black at least idk
16I WOULDN'T wear it! I hate it!
17I don't like it! I never wear it...
18I actually LOVE it! Her fashion style is right up my alley!!
19I actually quite like it. I wouldn't wear it, because I don't wear mini, but she could wear a black top, to make it more decent.
20ahhhh no kate no
21no
22I like it, maybe not the suede boots...
23i actually think the entire outfit looks fabulous on her! she can pull it off.
24It looks like what some skanky bar-crawling grandma type would wear out to the honky-tonk.
25I think it looks like the Tin Man from the Wizard of OZ. I agree with YAYitsErin. Black tights would have muted the metallic glare of the outfit. If the top is separate from skirt, then I would have worn it with a pewter color skirt or something.
26This is hideous!!
27Either the top or the skirt should be the only metallic piece and ditch the boots.
28I like it on her! The suede with the metallic doesn't bother me.
29Eh, it's Kate!
30Not digging that outfit.
31Not a good look ... it's just too much.
32No. This is not good. The boots and tights are the worst. Closely followed by the top and the skirt.
Yeah. I hate it all.
33She looks like a cutesy Xmas elf!
34I'm not into this look at all. eww
