sorry, meat to type I don't *like* it when people wear band t-shirts when they've never even heard of the band/like their music.
My bad My brain is turning to mush in work....
Yeah, it kinda bugs me when people wear band tees and probably know 2 songs tops by the band. Topshop had a bag a few years ago that said 'I love you more than the Clash' so many girls had
the bag, but ask them to name a few songs, other than London Calling and they look at you blankly.
Xxlyra, Junkfood is a brand that makes a lot of cute rocker tees. Try revolveclothing.com or 80stees.com...both sites usually have a bunch. And they're pretty cheap too.
Yes, only if I know who i'm wearing. One time I wore a Beatles tee and was very embarrassed that I knew who they were but didn't exactly know who they were...know what I mean?
Yeah - definitely agree that it's a little annoying when I see someone with a Beatles or Rolling Stone cute tee on ... yet they really don't listen to the band. I only wear band tees with
people that I actually listen to. I do, however, enjoy rock-like tees... tees with electric guitars or a drum set or something like that on the front. I think they're really cute with skinny
jeans and flats... or a killer pair of boots.
yes, i wear them all the time but only of bands that i love. I have about 3 Zeppelin t-shirts (they're playing tonight in London!!!), 1 Who shirt, 2 Doors t-shirts, and a Stones shirt.
I used to wear them a lot when i went out to the clubs but it's become a more
casual thing now.
And seriously ladies, if you don't know the band, please don't wear the shirt! I also don't like to wear the "CBGB" or "Ramones" ones that are everywhere but half the kids who wear them don't
even know about CBGB's! Grrr...just one of my pet peeves...
I have the Rolling Stones and Aerosmith ones that I GOT AT THE CONCERT so I am allowed to wear them no questions asked
And I have Pink Floyd that I wish I saw!
only of bands i really like and only vintage originals. i hate the pre-fabricated ones that are sold in bulk at urban or something like that. remember when EVERYONE had that ramones one??
I have 4 Aerosmith shirts that I got from concerts. They're the ONLY band tees I wear. If you aren't a fan of the band, why would you want to wear their symbol on your body?
I know the Ramone's and have some of their music, but wouldn't wear a T-shirt with them on it.
Personally, I don't think anyone should wear a band t-shirt unless they're actually a fan of the band. Having said that, I'm a fan of a lot of bands and just don't wear t-shirts full stop.
I agree that you shouldn't be allowed to wear a bands shirt if you aren't familiar with their work. That's the ultimate fashion no-no for me. You're trying way to hard to look cool.
I've got a Sex Pistols, Misfits, Placebo & Beatles shirt. I usually wear them to school when I'm having a lazy fashion day. Yeah, I listen to all the bands and know almost all songs by
heart. It is pretty lame when people just where them for a trend.
I think I've only ever had ONE. An REM from their Work Tour. I think I may be dating myself with that one. Not since then have I been that on fire for a band.
I don't agree that you should only listen if your a "true rocker"..that's a bunch of crap. People should wear what they please & not have to worry about haters...
I have a couple rocker tees that I picked up from concerts. I like wearing a band tee if it's someone I listen to and have gone to see.
However, something that is becoming extremely popular that I am into is activism tees. I love my 'Be the Change' and 'Helping others never goes out of style' tees. I think those are
completely on the rise and are a great alternative to just wearing a Stone shirt to look cool! I think wearing a statement tee is a great thing, and it doesn't just have to be a music
statement.

Rachel Bilson was out shopping in LA looking vintage-chic in a pair of shearling boots. Although the fur stole the show, the rest of her outfit was just as cute.
I have a Rolling Stones one too, similar to Jess's. I also have a Lynyrd Skynyrd one. I wear them on occasion.
1I would really like some but don't know where to get them. ): recommendations for webshops?
2I don't really wear tees except on weekends, but I actually have quite a few rocker tees.
I'd bet my next paycheck that Jess only knows 5, 6 Stones songs, tops.
3Personally I don't it when people wear band t-shirts when they've never even heard of the band/like their music.

10only if i was in 9th grade and actually went to the concert. i think these retro-inspired rocker tees are LAME!
11imo, wearing rocker tees always look a little to contrived - especially on the Simpson sisters.
12I have a few fav ones from going to shows in the past. I even have a few that belong to my mom back in her day but I only ever where them on occasion.
13I have some, but only of bands I'm really a fan of. I certainly wouldn't wear one just because it was cool, it has to be music I'm into.
14I have the Rolling Stones and Aerosmith ones that I GOT AT THE CONCERT so I am allowed to wear them no questions asked

17I only wear them if I love thier music. Otherwise I would feel like a bit of a poser.

19Anyone who thinks they are a "true rocker" is probably not one.
20Hell yeah! I love 'em! And yeah, I only wear ones from bands I know & love... If you don't have the CD in your car, you can't wear the shirt!
21Yes I do, since marrying a rocker-musician husband
22i think that unless your a fan of the bands work, then yeah go out and buy one. but otherwise, no.
23Hott

28I hate them and find them tacky.
29I use to wear them all the time! I love rocker tees. My husband has a tee shirt store so I just wear things that he sells but I still have a few.

32I think I'm on my fifth or sixth Queen shirt. More because I am a complete Queen addict than anything.
33I love my nirvana oversized shirt. very comfy
