Yes, I have, but I've stopped doing it a couple of years ago. Then I made a promise to myself that I can only buy clothes and shoes that I fall in love with instantly. And that works.
I agree Lala77. The problem is that I love too many things that I simply can't afford. So if I see something that I like and it's on sale I buy it, and many times I'll start to love it
because it makes me look good and it's what I can afford.
If I had to choose between buying the latest, most fashion forward shoe/bag/dress or shopping a great sale at a store that I like, I would definitely choose the sale, even if I ended up
spending the same amount of money either way. It's a mental thing. lol.
Sure, I do... I very rarely find things that I LOVE anyway, and most of the time, they are way out of my price range. There are plenty of times where I find a great deal on a pair of shoes
and I don't covet them but it's a good deal and I need a pair of whatever kind of shoes, so I buy them. I certainly never by anything that I don't like, and I don't buy things "just because",
but if I've been actively looking for something similar or it fills a hole in my wardrobe, then a sale will encourage me to pick up a different item than the exact one for which I was hoping.
I'm always happy with my purchases at the end of the day and it does save me a lot of money.
The question isn't whether you bought something you didn't like just because it was on sale, the question is whether you bought something you didn't LOVE. I've never bought anything I hated
on sale, but I've definitely bought things that I wasn't in love with because the sale was "too good" to pass up.
i have gotten caught up in the moment and bought a few unsavory items, only to look at them a week later and wonder what i was thinking. i have made a promise to never do this again. a great
bargain is still wasted money if you hate the item.
yes i do it!... but i have been tryin not too.. cuz it usually just sits in my closet and the tags stay on it for a LONG time, and i try and wear it one day and im like um... NO!.. sooo
unless i can picture myself wearing it atleast a few times then i try not to buy it
This happens more when I shop online!!! I just bought some really ugly patent (synthetic leather) pumps with a red heel which turned out to be fake suede. I sure didn't see that on the pic!!!
This happens just a little too often!!! I do try to stop doing it, but sometimes I can't help it.
I'm trying really hard to only buy stuff I love- my husband too! I find that if I only buy stuff I love, I like my wardrobe (even if it's a little less packed) much better than if its stocked
with sale items!
Oh my. Yes, I mostly do this when shopping online. I'll think that I like it and get over excited because it is on sale. Usually once I get it I hate it because of the fit, or cheap material,
or any reason I would have clearly seen if I bought it in person.
I dont buy something on sale unless I would also buy it for its full price. Meaning I only buy what I love. Although Im always looking for the things I love on sale
Buyer's remorse is EVIL. I've had that monkey on my back for ages.
Like the 40 dollar pair of long black leather gloves...that are just a SMIDGE too tight on my forearms. Should have said NO! 40 bucks for good quality long leather gloves isn't horrid, but
I've worn them twice, and kicked myself for buying them. Next season they'll be anathema, and still in my drawer...bugger!

Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.

1Nope I don't think so. I don't have to LOVE what I buy if it's on sale, but I def have to like it

4Yes, then it hangs in my closet reminding me of the money I just wasted.
5I don't buy stuff I dont like just because it's on sale, but if it's soemthing that I like and think I'll wear a few times, I'll get it.
6Yes, but not very often...I am trying not to buy things that I'm not completely in love with.
7I have a closet full of sale stuff I never wear..... My b/f is trying to teach me the difference between "on sale" and "for sale"
8As Lala77 said, as long as I LIKE it, I'm good. I make it work in my wardrobe.
9Sometimes I can't control myself
10I tend to do it a lot, sometimes it's just so hard to pass up a sale item! Especially when you are saving a ton of money!
11Why would you buy something you don't like just because it's on sale??? That doesn't make much sense. I'd rather save my money.
12I think I'm getting better at this. I'm trying to buy only things I love--whether it's on sale or not.

17I never buy something that I don't like nor use even if it's 99 cents on sale

19I hate when i do this!!
20totally bought stuff on sale just b/c it was on sale...there was no love
21I used to, but now I barely buy anything, even if it's on sale. If it doesn't fit perfectly or if I really don't need it, I pass.
22guilty as charged. haha.. but not that often thou
23yes, but I try not to. When Im waiting on line is usually the deciding factor. If I hold it for too long I usually talk myself out of it.
24I'm trying really hard to only buy stuff I love- my husband too! I find that if I only buy stuff I love, I like my wardrobe (even if it's a little less packed) much better than if its stocked with sale items!
25goodness I am so guilty of this I think I may need help, sooner rather than later

27yep def. "settled" for clothes.
28I dont buy something on sale unless I would also buy it for its full price. Meaning I only buy what I love. Although Im always looking for the things I love on sale
