Ever since that genius sports jacket Kit made on episode three of Project Runway flannel has been on my mind. Then, I realized I don't own anything flannel. Oh wait! I have a pair of turquoise pajama pants with martinis on them. But seriously, this look from Carolina Herrera's Fall runway takes flannel to a high level of opulence. Actually, I'm feeling quite embarrassed about divulging my cheesy pajama pants to you right about now. Goodbye . . .

1I have always loved flannesl (I was a teenager in the 90's!), but wasn't Kit's jacket on PR fleece, not flannel?

7I hate how flannel feels on my skin, I would not wear it. I especially hate flannel sheets, the thought of them makes me shudder!

Flannel is good stuff, but it has to be GOOD flannel. I had a bunch of flannel shirts in middle school that in retrospect were shapeless masses of fug. But hey, I was a 12 year old tomboy. But the good stuff can be shaped nicely, soft, and most importantly (for those of us that live right next to Lake Michigan, anyhow), WARM!
